Last week, we attended the ILTM Americas (International Luxury Travel Market) Conference in Mayakoba, Riviera Maya, Mexico. We toured 28 (!!) resorts between Cancun and Tulum. We visited all sorts of resorts; all-inclusives, boutique hotels, adults only resorts, and family friendly resorts. We were super impressed with how far these resorts have come from the corny stuff-your-face-with-fried-food stereotype. That being said, all the resorts were different.
